Who we are
Passion for technology, precision in every detail.
At KS AERIAL WORKS, we combine our love for aviation with cutting-edge technologies. My name is Karel Soukop and I am a certified drone pilot with years of experience. My goal is to provide not only breathtaking shots, but above all, precise data that will help you make informed decisions and ultimately reduce your costs!
Where to find us? We are based in Prague, serving Central Bohemia. Thanks to our regional background, we are also fully available to clients in the Moravian-Silesian Region, Vysočina, and Hradec Králové Region. Efficient logistics allow us to offer fair transport prices across the entire Czech Republic.
We are fully aware that we operate in a strictly regulated industry. Therefore, absolute compliance with current legislation – especially aviation regulations (CAA) and data protection (GDPR) – is the foundation of every project.
Every project is a unique challenge for us, which we approach with the utmost care, from flight planning to final data processing. Safety and client satisfaction are our top priorities.

Our Services
Thermography
Applications for industry and agriculture. We detect heat leaks on buildings and solar panels, but we also perform field monitoring for fawn rescue and nighttime wildlife counting.
Photogrammetry & 3D
Converting images into precise data. We specialize in "HARD DATA" – creating bulletproof damage reports (wildlife, hail) for insurance companies in S-JTSK. We also create 3D models and construction bases.
Video & Photography
Capturing breathtaking high-resolution aerial shots for commercial, real estate, and private purposes. We create promotional videos and photographs.
How We Work
Consultation & Goals
First, we discuss your needs and project goals together to design the most effective solution.
Flight Planning
We prepare a detailed flight plan considering safety, legislation, and site specifics.
Field Execution
We collect data using state-of-the-art drones and sensors exactly according to the approved plan.
Processing & Output
We carefully process the data and prepare final deliverables – whether it's a report, a 3D model, or a video.
Our Equipment
DJI Matrice 4T
DJI Mavic PRO Platinum
DJI Mini 4 PRO
Pricing Guide
Ideal for municipalities, associations, and non-VAT payers. We are not VAT payers, ours are final.
HARD DATA
(Damage Mapping)
"Our price for precise mapping is not just 'a price per hectare'. It's the price for a complete, bulletproof document for your insurance company."
The base flat rate covers complete mission prep, transport, RTK measurement, S-JTSK data processing, and damage protocol creation, including the first 5 hectares.
Each additional hectare is charged at approx. 12 - 15 €/ha depending on complexity.
3D Models & Passportization
(Digital Twins)
- Precise 3D models of buildings and monuments
- Millimeter precision using an RTK module
- Output in .glb format for web or CAD/BIM
- Ideal for conservationists, architects, and municipalities
Wildlife Counting
("Night Overview")
- Legal night flights for hunters
- Accurate hunting ground audit via thermal
- Detailed report on wildlife population

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the accuracy of your drone volume measurements, 3D models, and photogrammetry?
We use our flagship DJI Matrice 4T drone equipped with an RTK module and ground control points (GCPs), ensuring centimeter- to millimeter-level accuracy (including national coordinate systems such as S-JTSK and Bpv). This allows us to rapidly and accurately calculate the volume of stockpiles, rubble, and bulk materials (including tonnage conversion) and create digital twins of buildings ready for CAD and BIM.
Are your crop damage reports accepted by insurance companies and agricultural enterprises?
Yes. We deliver "HARD DATA" – an official, comprehensive PDF report containing a high-resolution orthophoto map and an exact calculation of the affected area in hectares (damage caused by wildlife, hail, or drought) in the S-JTSK coordinate system. This document serves as a bulletproof basis for negotiations with insurance companies, hunting associations, or landowners.
What can a thermal inspection of PV plants and buildings detect, and when is the best time to perform it?
Using a high-resolution radiometric thermal camera (640×512 px), we detect thermal bridges, heat loss through roofs or facades, flat roof water leaks, and defective cells (hot-spots) on photovoltaic power plants (PV). Autumn and winter are ideal for building heat loss inspections (with an indoor/outdoor temperature difference of at least 10–15 °C), while PV plants are inspected on sunny days under operational load.
Are nighttime wildlife counting and drone flights over municipalities or industrial sites legal?
Yes, we operate 100% legally in full compliance with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and European EASA legislation. We hold A1/A3 and A2 certifications, arrange all necessary flight permits, and carry comprehensive professional liability insurance. For hunting associations, we provide completely legal nighttime thermal monitoring as well as spring fawn rescue prior to haymaking.
Are you VAT payers, and in which regions do you operate?
We are not VAT payers – all stated prices are final, which saves significant budget for municipalities, associations, and non-VAT payers. We are based in Prague (covering all of Central Bohemia) and regularly execute projects in the Moravian-Silesian Region (Ostrava, Opava, Bruntál, and the Polish border area), the Vysočina Region (Jihlava), the Hradec Králové Region, and across Central Europe upon agreement.
